Absolutely love the visuals in Hidden Horrors! The spooky Halloween theme is done so well, every level feels like a little piece of haunted art. Hidden Horrors is a solid hidden object game. The puzzles are genuinely clever, and some of those items are really well-hidden, which is exactly what I look for. The 30 levels offer a good amount of playtime, though I did find a few levels a bit easier than others. The timer adds a nice little challenge without being too stressful most of the time. I just wish there were even more levels to play through, because I flew through these pretty quickly! Still, highly recommended for fans of the genre.
I really wanted to like Hidden Horrors, especially with the cool Halloween theme. However, I found the time limit incredibly frustrating. Some of the items are *so* tiny or blended in perfectly that it felt unfair, and constantly running out of time just took away from the enjoyment. It stops feeling like a relaxing puzzle and more like a stressful race. I wish there was an option to play without the timer, or at least a more generous one. It's a shame because the graphics are nice, but the difficulty spike with the timer just put me off.
