Barbell Sort Puzzle
Puzzle Editorial difficulty: Easy–Medium Editor's rating: 3.9/5A well-executed version of a familiar sort-puzzle formula; it doesn't reinvent the mechanic but the difficulty ramp is fair and the barbell visual reads clearly.
About This Game
Barbell Sort Puzzle is a sorting game, each barbell has different color barbell pieces, you need to move the same color barbell pieces one on the same side. The further you go, the more difficult the level is, the more you can challenge your brain! Come and play now!
Barbell Sort Puzzle wraps the well-established color-sorting formula in a gym theme: instead of colored liquid or nuts, you're rearranging colored plates stacked on barbells. The mechanic underneath is identical in spirit to water- or ball-sort games — move a group of matching items until each container holds only one color — but the barbell skin and stacking visual give it a slightly different read on available space, since plates sit in visible discrete units rather than a continuous fill. Later levels tighten the puzzle the same way every sort game does: more colors competing for fewer spare bars.
How to Play
Examine the barbells with different weights displayed on the game field.Select a barbell and drag it to the target stack area.Arrange barbells in the correct weight order from lightest to heaviest.Work within the constraints of available space and movement rules.Complete all barbell sorting objectives to advance levels.Master weight-sorting puzzles to become a fitness equipment expert.
Each level shows several barbells holding mixed-color plates. Select a barbell to lift its topmost plate, then select a destination barbell to place it there. A plate can only land on an empty bar or on a matching color sitting on top of another bar. Continue moving plates between bars until every barbell holds plates of a single color, which clears the level.
Controls: Tap or click a source barbell, then tap or click a destination barbell — no dragging required, just two taps per move.

Always keep at least one bar completely empty as a working buffer — the moment every bar is full, you lose the flexibility to break up an awkward stack, and most stuck positions trace back to filling that last empty bar too early. Only move a full run of matching plates when it can land on a matching top color, not just any empty space; scattering single plates across multiple bars for convenience early on tends to clog the board later rather than saving time. In the final few moves of a level, think two steps ahead rather than one — the last handful of plates usually needs to be moved in a specific order, and a bar filled in the wrong sequence can strand a color with no legal destination.
What Makes It Different
Nut Sort: Color Puzzle Game and Water Sort Master use the same core sorting logic with a bolt-and-nut or liquid-flask presentation; Barbell Sort Puzzle's stacked-plate visual makes it easier to see exactly how many items are blocking a color at a glance, which some players find less fiddly to plan around than a continuous liquid fill.
Scoring & Winning
Completion is binary — every bar single-color clears the level — with no score or timer, so the challenge scales purely through added colors and reduced spare bars as levels progress.
How It Compares
Nut Sort: Color Puzzle Game applies the identical sorting logic to bolts and nuts instead of barbells and plates — functionally the same puzzle with a different skin, useful if you enjoy the mechanic and want a themed change of pace.
